Welcome to Albany Hacks! Albany High School's first hackathon (since a very long time at least)

In order to win amazing prizes (and clout), you will compete in teams of 1 to 4 members, producing a coding project that has some sort of purpose (informational website, simulation in Scratch, a 2D game using Python, anything really). Your main project will also be followed by an informational video and a write up of your project (guidelines and more information will be provided in the following section)

Requirements

Qualification Criteria:

  • Submit a project with a functional purpose (website, software, game)

    • Done in any language; can also be a drag and drop coding platform such as Snap/Scratch

  • Submit some type of video explaining the project

    • Can be a demo, a set of slides, etc.

    • No time limit (but keep it short and concise, around 1 to 3 minutes)

      • Introduce yourselves

      • What it does

      • How to use it (Demo of the project)

      • Some sort of ending

        • Thank the audience

  • A short write up/information piece in Devpost

    • When you create a project, all the necessary elements will be there for your convenience
